Fresh Taos Hum Chimayo style Red Chile and Fire Roasted Red Chile is blended in red wine vinegar that has aged in fresh bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 months. A hint of honey softens the tannins for a complex and spectacular lingering flavor!
Overall, the Bourbon Barrel is on the milder side of our sauces, but still has enough heat to call it a Hot Sauce while letting you eat more than a few drops! It has the true, sophisticated taste of New Mexico.
Spectacular on seafood, in Bloody Marias, on eggs, meat, and straight out of the bottle!
As with all of our products, all peppers are organically grown here at our farm, hand harvested, apple wood fire roasted, hand blended and carefully bottled, enjoy the HUM!
This is truly a small batch, fancy sauce with no fillers like xanthan gum, no extracts, no water, no low quality garlic or onion powders, just peppers, home made vinegar, local honey and a little salt!
